Byrd School Library Circulation Policy

Kdg. (book checkout begins after winter break) 1 book

1st Grade: 1 book

2nd - 5th Grade: 2 books

2 Renewals are allowed per book 1 book checkout of popular series or authors (ex. Diary of a Wimpy Kid)
Books are taken out for one week except for holidays or winter or spring break when an extended circulation is allowed.
Students will not be allowed to checkout if all materials are not returned.

Reference Materials Reference are for in-school use only. Only staff may check them out.

Lost or Damaged Materials

District 111 policy is the cost of the damaged or lost material is equal to the current purchase price plus shipping and processing. A refund is given for returned material if it has not been re-ordered or replaced.
