Principal's Message

Principal
Tara Wrobel
Principal
Hello Byrd Explorer Families,

I am excited to share that my whole teaching career has been here in Burbank School District 111. During my years here in BSD111, I have worked as a classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, and an Assistant Principal at J.B. Kennedy School. I have had the pleasure of teaching grades second, third, and fourth.

My goal as the principal of Byrd School is to ensure that through positive school culture, a solid collaboration between home and school, and the utilization of sound, best instructional practices all students, staff, and families will achieve personal and academic achievement. I bring a strong belief that students are the center of all school related decisions. I am always eager to support and develop relationships with all Byrd students and form collaborative partnerships with families and staff. Relationships between families and the school are vital to academic success. I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.

Respectfully,
Mrs. Wrobel
