School Board Update Dear Burbank SD 111 Families & Staff:School board election winners, Gregory Komperda, Agnieszka Dabrowski, John Schuetz, and Jeniz Greene, took the Oath of Office and the board reorganized at the April 23 board meeting.
Stickney Township Offers Pre-School and Summer Programs Stickney Township Youth Commission offers Summer Programs for children age 3-8 and Preschool for children age 3 and 4 in the fall. Programs are available to residents of Stickney Township.
Preschool Screening Families interested in enrolling new students in District 111’s Preschool Program for the 2025–26 school year should sign up for our Preschool Screening Day on May 21. During this screening, we will assess new preschool-aged children who will be three years old by August 2025. If you have a child - or know someone with a child - who meets this age requirement and is interested in our Early Learning Program, please sign-up by May 9.

Kindergarten Registration Opens March 1 Will your child be five by September 1, 2025? Kindergarten registration for the upcoming school year opens March 1.
2025-2026 Registration Opens March 1 New and Returning Student Registration opens March 1. Parents and guardians of current students will receive an email with a direct snap-code link to register their student. Current 5th grade students moving on to Liberty next year should be registered as Returning Students. Please also note: snapcode letters indicate your child's current school.
Transition to Whitsons Culinary Group & New Menu Platform We are excited to announce a major update regarding the food services for our district.
